Visited the inn on a weekend before Christmas with our 12 yr old son, while visiting family in the area. Our stay was absolutely enjoyable on all levels. Inn keepers Maryann & Jim are gracious and inviting just like the guest rooms. We stayed in Pine tree and had a lovely view of the fields and alpacas and chickens. The room and common areas were positively spotless and had every amenity anyone could think of. The gas fireplace and delightful Christmas tree with lights, added a charming warmth to our room. Heated towel rack in the bathroom was a cozy bonus! We enjoyed a 3 course breakfast in the dining room the following morning which was beyond our expectations. The homemade scones hot/fresh from the oven paired with the orange butter delightful!! While chatting with the innkeepers, we even had the opportunity to learn a bit of the alpacas on the grounds. There is even a shop on property that sells goods made from the fibers of those darling alpacas. The inn is conveniently close to Freeport and Rt. 295. I highly recommend this Inn for any occasion, whether it be as a couple, traveling with children, or family reunion. Am already thinking, family reunion or holiday gathering!
